BDIC Hosts NTA Makurdi on Strategic Courtesy Visit
The Managing Director/CEO, Benue Digital Infrastructure Company PLC ( BDIC) Gbande Hembaor Terwase had the privilege of hosting the Zonal Director of NTA Makurdi Network Centre, Mrs. Asabe Ak’mordi, alongside her management team, on a courtesy visit to the Benue Digital Infrastructure Company (BDIC). This engagement was both strategic and timely, as it provided an avenue for us to showcase BDIC’s cutting-edge digital products and services designed to power the ongoing transformation of Benue State into a fully digital economy.

A key highlight of the visit was the inspection of BDIC’s array of innovative products, including computers, biometric data devices, tablets, projectors, and drones—all developed to strengthen digital capacity and service delivery across sectors. The Zonal Director also interacted with children participating in the ongoing Benue State Government–sponsored Summer Tech Training at BDIC headquarters, encouraging them to embrace their roles as champions of the Benue Digital Revolution. Her words inspired the children to see technology as a tool to unlock their creativity and prepare for the future.

The engagement further created a platform for BDIC and NTA Makurdi Network Centre to reach a mutual understanding on establishing a strategic partnership. This collaboration will focus on promoting the Digital Benue Project, leveraging the extensive reach of NTA to amplify our efforts in digital literacy, e-governance, and technology-driven development. With this synergy, the vision of a connected, innovative, and prosperous Benue becomes clearer and more achievable.

As a symbol of our commitment to excellence and innovation, I presented the BDIC-branded tablet, Igyuve T10, to the Zonal Director for firsthand testing of our brand. This gesture underscores BDIC’s capacity to not only build digital infrastructure but also deliver consumer-ready technology solutions that align with global standards. Together with partners like NTA, we remain steadfast in championing Benue’s place at the forefront of Nigeria’s digital economy.
