Terwase Hembaor-Gbande is a visionary digital strategist and transformative business leader serving as the pioneer Managing Director/CEO of Benue Digital Infrastructure Company PLC (BDIC). With over 20 years of experience across digital innovation, public sector reform, and enterprise development, he is a prominent voice in Nigeria’s digital transformation space.
A graduate of Political Science (B.Sc., M.Sc.) from Benue State University, he also holds a National Diploma in Computer Science, PGDM, and is pursuing both an MBA and a Ph.D in Political Economy. Terwase began his professional journey as the founder of Gamint Corporate Ltd, delivering smart card, biometric, and software solutions. He consulted for key public institutions like the Benue State Internal Revenue Service, Nigerian Army Intelligence Corps, and others, driving technology-enabled reforms.
Appointed in 2024 to lead BDIC, Terwase is spearheading the Digital Benue Initiative—a strategy focused on digital infrastructure, education, innovation, and job creation. Under his leadership, BDIC has formed strategic partnerships with top ICT players, launched digital products, secured regulatory licenses, and established the E-Governance and Technology Study Center to modernize public service delivery

Imoter Japheth Gbim-Gbande is a Nigerian legal practitioner with a specialization in Technology and commercial law. He earned his LL.B from Benue State University, Makurdi, in 2013 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015.
Professionally, Gbim-Gbande has amassed experience across several law firms, including Mohammed Fawehinmi & Co. and E. Osoka & Co., where he served as an associate.
In addition to his legal practice, he holds the position of Company Secretary and Legal Adviser at Benue Digital Infrastructure Company Plc.
Engineer Michael Idu holds a Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering and a Masters Degree in Information Technology.
After the completion of his undergraduate studies in 2007, he is being involved in the development of ICT solutions and mentoring the next generation of ICT experts. He is a member of the Benue State ICT council and a one time Benue State ICT Consultant.
Mr. Jacob Nguuma Ayua is a distinguished computer scientist and full-stack developer with expertise in software engineering, ICT leadership, and digital transformation.
He began his career at Nassarawa State Polytechnic and later led software development at Benue State University, contributing nationally to key projects like Eaglescan and U3PS. He has deployed over 50 enterprise solutions for institutions across Nigeria. Formerly Assistant Secretary-General (Tech) at CVCNU, Abuja, he became CTO of Benue Digital Infrastructure Company in 2024. Known for innovation, excellence, and mentoring, Jacob has significantly impacted ICT growth in education, governance, and public service within Benue State and nationally.
Teryima is a highly experienced professional in mobile and fixed backhaul technology, with deep expertise in the strategic formulation and deployment of cost-effective solutions for optical transport system Engineering.

Holds a BSc Hons in Statistics/Computer Science from the University of Agriculture, Makurdi. With over 17 years of experience in the ICT industry, he has built a robust career in the tech industry, with experience as a Principal Database Administrator/Developer at Benue State University, Makurdi, from 2011 to 2024, and as a Consulting Project Manager at GAMINT Corporate Ltd from 2013 to 2021.
He also began his professional journey as a Business Manager at Interactive Computer Academy in 2010. A member of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) and Computer Professionals Nigeria (CPN). Mr. Abur is deeply committed to advancing digital infrastructure and technology in Nigeria and Africa. With a passion for problem-solving and innovation, he is driven to contribute to the growth of the digital economy through his expertise in system analysis, design and development, database development/management, and project leadership.
Gabriel Onyedikachi Nwankwo is a seasoned Software Engineer, Systems Architect, Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Data Scientist, and Systems Security Expert. He currently serves as Group Head, Software Development and Quality Assurance at Benue Digital Infrastructure Company (BDIC).
He leads cross-functional teams in building enterprise-grade digital solutions for both government and private sector stakeholders. Before joining BDIC, Gabriel served as Chief Technical Officer at GistHouse Inc., Omaha, USA, where he led a full-scale architectural transformation that significantly improved system resilience and user experience. Prior to that, he was a Senior Software Engineer at Netpreneur360, a U.S.-based IT firm, where he contributed to scalable software solutions for global clients. He also worked as an IT Consultant for Gamint Corporate Ltd., facilitating a UNICEF partnership for an e-learning initiative and developing fraud detection systems for the Benue State Government. Gabriel holds a Master degree in Computer Science from the University of Lagos and is deeply committed to technological innovation, digital transformation, and capacity building through mentorship and leadership.
He is currently focused on advancing the adoption of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) to drive future-ready solutions across sectors.
