Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, Executive Governor of Benue State, the free Summer Tech Training Program for children proudly entered its third week at the BDIC Digital Skills Lab in Makurdi. The atmosphere is alive with innovation as the Benue digital landscape begins to breathe with the promise of transformation through the rise of a new generation of tech giants from the Benue Trough.
Fully sponsored by the Benue State Government, this program is equipping young minds with digital skills, programming, and coding competencies—essential tools that will not only redefine their future but also strengthen Benue’s position in the global digital economy. By investing in this generation, we are nurturing innovators, problem-solvers, and creators who will bridge the digital divide, create jobs, and unlock new opportunities across every sector.
