The Managing Director/CEO of Benue Digital Infrastructure Company (BDIC), Hon. Gbande-Hembaor Terwase, AFCPN, led a high-level meeting with the Head of Service of Benue State, the Office of the Accountant General, and officials from the Benue State Pensions Board.
The meeting focused on the urgent automation of Pensions system and deployment of the Employees and Pensioners Verification System, a key component of the Digital Transformation Agenda of His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, Executive Governor of Benue State. The initiative aims to enhance transparency, eliminate ghost workers, and ensure efficiency in the management of the state’s payroll and pension systems.
During the deliberation, the Head of Service underscored the immediate need for deployment, emphasizing the government’s commitment to achieving a fully digitalized civil service. In response, Hon. Gbande-Hembaor Terwase reaffirmed BDIC’s readiness and technical capacity to deliver on this critical directive in record time.
According to the Group Head of Software Development and Quality Assurance, collaborative efforts are already underway with the MD/CEO to design and implement a robust verification framework that will guarantee a smooth and efficient rollout.
With this initiative, BDIC continues to drive the Digital Benue Dream, ensuring that the vision of a modern, transparent, and technology-driven Benue State becomes a reality.
