From Addis Ababas to Abuja: BDIC Advances Next Steps in Connecting Benue Youths to Global Job Opportunities
On the 7th to 9th of July, 2025, the Managing Director/CEO of Benue Digital Infrastructure Company PLC (BDIC), Mr. Gbande Hembaor Terwase, participated in the 3rd African Job Creation Forum sponsored by the African Union, the Government of Ethiopia, and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat.
He attended alongside the Honourable Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Muhammad Dingyadi, where strategic side discussions were held on the integration of a comprehensive National Digital Artisans Registration and Certification System. This initiative is designed to connect the majority of Benue youth to global job opportunities through digital platforms and infrastructure.
Following this, today mr. Gbande led the BDIC team to the Federal Secretariat, Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, to deepen the ongoing engagement with the Honourable Minister, the Permanent Secretary, directors, and senior officials. Through these engagements, BDIC is setting the stage for a jobs access revolution across Benue, Nigeria, and Africa, leveraging digital infrastructure as the backbone for sustainable employment, empowerment, and economic growth.
