The GMD/CEO of the Benue Digital Infrastructure Company (BDIC),and. President/CEO Africa Digital Infrastructure Company ( AfDIC) Mr. Gbande Hembaor Terwase AFCPN, led a one-day co-creation stakeholders’ engagement meeting on the development of an e-pension management system and the automation of contributory pensions for the 23 Local Government Councils.
The engagement brought together DGSAs and Treasurers to deepen efforts toward digitizing pension administration and deploying an integrated payroll automation system across the State.
This initiative is in line with the directives of His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, Executive Governor of Benue State, to strengthen digital governance. The Alia-led administration is committed to establishing a robust e-pension system that sanitizes processes, enhances administrative efficiency, and ensures that retirees and pensioners receive their dues and benefits without delays or challenges.
The meeting, organized by the Benue State Pensions Commission in collaboration with the Benue Digital Infrastructure Company (BDIC), further seeks to introduce a fully automated and integrated payroll management system. One that streamlines payments, minimizes errors, and optimizes the entire contributory pension workflow across all 23 LGAs.
