Today, the 21st day of November, 2025, the Group Managing Director/CEO Benue Digital Infrastructure Company ( BDIC) and the President/CEO Africa Digital Infrastructure Company ( AfDIC) Gbande Hembaor Terwase AFCPN had the privilege of receiving in his office the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), Prof. R. A. Wuana, who visited on the directive of the Vice-Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Isaac Nathaniel Itodo, FNSE, FAgEng, NPON, of Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi, Nigeria (formerly University of Agriculture, Makurdi).
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor formally presented to the Benue Digital Infrastructure Company (BDIC) and Africa Digital Infrastructure Company (AfDIC) the University’s acceptance to collaborate and serve as the host institution for the BDIC/AfDIC Technologies Users Test Community (BTUTC) on the university campus.
This milestone signifies a bold and progressive step by the University’s leadership toward deepening digital innovation, research, and practical technology deployment within the academic environment.
The BTUTC will expose students, particularly those in the Faculties of Sciences, Computing, and Engineering, to hands-on experience as technology testers, digital trainees, and innovation fellows within the BDIC and AfDIC technology ecosystem.
