BDIC Concludes 2025 Digital Capacity Programme with Graduation of Cohort 34
Today, the Benue Digital Infrastructure Company (BDIC) successfully concluded its final training session for the year 2025 with the graduation of Cohort 34, marking another significant milestone in BDIC’s structured digital capacity-building programme for the Benue State Civil Service.
This achievement reflects steady progress toward the strategic target of training 40,000 civil servants statewide, reinforcing BDIC’s commitment to institutionalizing digital skills and strengthening public sector efficiency.
In line with its mandate, BDIC has continued to prioritize knowledge infrastructure as a core enabler of the digital transformation agenda of His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, Executive Governor of Benue State. Throughout the year, successive cohorts of civil servants were trained in key areas including the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), Cybersecurity, Data Protection, and Basic Computing, all carefully designed to automate workflows, enhance service delivery, and improve productivity across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
BDIC sincerely appreciates the civil servants who participated in these training programmes across all cohorts. Your enthusiasm, commitment to continuous learning, and willingness to embrace digital tools are critical to building a responsive, transparent, and efficient public service.
We also commend the dedication of the BDIC management and training teams, whose professionalism, discipline, and tireless efforts ensured the successful delivery of these programmes throughout the year.
Above all, we extend our profound gratitude to His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, for his visionary leadership, consistent support, and unwavering commitment to a digitally empowered Benue State. As we conclude the year, BDIC wishes all stakeholders a Merry Christmas and a prosperous, innovative, and impactful New Year, as we look forward to achieving even greater digital milestones in the year ahead.
